Our Brochure

My partner and I spent several hours on our first brochure this week, we were all tired, but we felt very happy because we felt successful after we finished. When we were doing it, we did reseach and search some infomation on the Internet and library. And I learnt how to make a brochure using a computer. John, who is one of the MT students, can make a paper eagle. So we leant it from him and planned to make 20. After we finished making our brochure, we handed 20 out yesterday morning. Yahoo!

One thing is interesting is that we met an man who studyed eagles when we were handing out our brochures in front of MacEwan Student Center. we did not plan to give one to him, but when he saw the pictures, he returned to us to ask whether we were doing something about the eagle. we felt thrilled!

After experiencing that, we knew more infomation about the endangered animals, how to build up our team work, how to communicate with others, especially strangers. Someone told me that Canadians were so cold because they would refuse you directly, they would say No when they did not want to listen to you. But I think they were indeed in hurry then.
