HOHO*

Well, I'm going to be 18 years old next Wednesday, it is an extremetrly exciting thing! I can use the Visa, and I can do anything I want. Moreover, I do not need to report anything I have done to my guardian. Meawhile, I have to be responsible for everything to myself. So, I must do things carefully from next Wed on, haha.
And the family who I stay with held a birthday party for me yesterday evening. The Halloween is coming, so they bought me a big cake with models of pumpkin, bat, carlin, and moon on it. The cake looked nice and ate delicious. Aslo, there were duck, chicken, mushroom with vegetable, and a big crab! I am still stuffed although one day has passed. Yummy, yummy...hehe
Hmm, one more thing, I went to play tennis yesterday afternoon. It was so windy that my skin became very rough. Oh, it was too bad. So I used skin lotion immediately I returned home.

^_^ yesterday

It was a fantastic day yesterday!
I got up early at 6:40, because I have classes on 8:00 every Friday, so I must take the bus on 7:16. When I was on my way to the bus stop, I found the sky was super nice! There were several stars and the bright moon in the sky, and the colour of the sky was from dark bule to pink. I think the morning here looks like the night in China, and the afternoon here looks like the morning in China. Hehe, it is a little strange. But I like it!
Then, I went to downtown with my friend after we did some of our homework. There is a famous avenue which is called Stephen Ave. Not only does lots of high buildings stand in downtown, but lots of old and beautiful houses as well. And we found a good place which was named "the Cellar", the store has two distinct areas: the gift shop with wine accessories, and the cellar proper with a large selection of wines and spirits. There were so many stuff which I only saw on TV before. It was really a exciting trip!
We also had delicious coffee at Second Cup, but I never heard it before. And we ate the bagel in Tim Hortons. It tasted good.
It was a nice day, though I was so tired that I kept yawning on my way home.

Magic of Love

To all of my friends,
I was always wondering why I was so happy whenever I was reading the emails which were from you. Though there were only some daily stuff, and some short greetings in letters. Though the letters were short, I know and I can feel that they are from your hearts. Because of your supportings, I don't feel stressful here. Because of your thinking of me, I don't feel alone here.
It is indeed a strange thing, maybe this is the friendship what I expected. It is also a kind of love, magic love.
Thank you very much, my dear friends! Meeting you is my pleasure!

Best wishes!

Yours,
Jamie ^_^

Thanksgiving Day

Today is Thanksgiving Day, and one of my friends had told me how it came. It is a important part of the western culture.
And I attended a party which was to celebrate the Thanksgiving Day last Saturday in the Westside Calgary Chinese Alliance Church. My friend is a member of them, so I was invited. I ate the turkey that night. I never eat the turkey before, and someone told me the turkey was not delicious, but the result turned out fine.

Tomorrow we're going to have tests, hmm, I don't like it very much.

It's a fabulous day today!
We went to the Calgary Zoo today, there are lots of animals which I haven't see before, like the Grizzly Bear, the kookaburra, the Matschie's Tree kangaroo, the Elk, the Crane, and the MeerKat, etc. Oh, too many, I can't remember all of them.
After we finished visiting the animals, I also went to the Conservatory. There are a diversity of plants and butterfly there, and their models as well.
I took 161 photos in all today, and a short movie, which is about the beautiful butterfly.
I love the trip to the Zoo today, though I felt extremely tired!
