time flies!

how time flies, we are near the end of our LEAP 2 study!
look backward through these 3 months here, I have had lots of new friends, who are very friendly and nice; I have learnt many new things, which are very useful and interesting.
I studied endangered animals, ecology and the environment, and business. From these classes, I learnt how to do presentation, posters, how to build up team work, how to set up my own blog, how to write an academic paragraph, how to take notes and increase my reading speed. all of them are helpful to my study.

winter

the weather becomes warmer because of the chinook, it is indeed a good day to go hiking! but I have been already a little tired after going shopping yesterday afternoon. what's worse, I went out wearing not so many clothes when I saw so lovely sunshine. as a result, I had a stomach ache on our way to TNT. I guessed it was because my stomach felt cold. After going to the washroom twice, I felt much better. And I put up a jacket as soon as I bought it.
I thought it should be warm inside the house because of the heating before I came to Canada, so I only brought myself some T-shirts and coats, no sweaters. However, the result came out opposite! I felt so cold without sweaters! So, I went shopping yesterday, and bought one sweater and one jacket. I felt much safer and I'm sure I will not be frozen this cold winter.

here comes the long weekend!

It is Remembrance Day tomorrow; therefore, we have no classes. Here comes a another long weekend!
I just finished our tests for our Theme Two, which is about ecosystem and the environment, so we do not have homework. I don't know what to do this long weekend, maybe just to watch some movies, or go to buy a new pair of shoes. I did not bring me warm shoes, and I do not want my feet to be frozen when the temperature is below -10C.
Because of the cold weather, I don't want to go outside. And I can have winter vacation in one month, hoho!
I fell asleep on way home on the bus this afternoon, and I met a kind gentleman who closed the window for me when I was sleeping. Maybe he did not want me to get a cold. Thanks a lot, even I did not know you!

a nice week

It was Halloween on Oct 31,2005. It was my first Halloween, and I went out to ask for candy at night with a 6-year-old boy. I dressed as a ghost, and we said "trick or theat" to the hosts, then, they laughed and gave us several candy. I was so excited that we had a full bucket of candy at last!
It was amazing that I recevied more than 60 emails from my friends in China on my birthday! They said Happy birthday to me, and threatened me that I should not do anything bad, otherwise I would be sent into prison. Actually, the reason was that they guys did not want to go to Candaian prison to visit me! Haha, just a joke. Anyway, they are so kind and lovely! Thank you very much, my dear friends!
Hmm, I was a volunteer for helping the AESL-Conference this morning. It was indeed a nice experience for me, and I learnt lot from it. Well, I'm gonna be the volunteer one more day, and I have to get up at 6:45 tomorrow because I need to take a 20-min bus trip. That's OK, getting up early is better than later.
