blog, blog, blog

I don't know what to write this week, maybe the free pizza and the big snow.
well, I got a pizza when I was having a meeting with the Globetrotter. It might be reward. and I thought the staff there in the cafe was very kind and clever. it could be one of the skills to manage your company or market. because the staff has bulit up a kind shape in my head, I will probably eat there if I'm facing some choices. it is related to the psychology and business. oh, what am I talking about! the staff maybe just do not want to throw those pizza away! anyway, it does NOT matter.
another thing I'm going to talk about is the SNOW. I think winter has come since the sonwing on Valentines' Day. I still remeber I was shocked when seeing the flurry outside on my way to Craigie Hall. it was so sudden, soon, the whole Calgary became white. and it still is.

rainbow!!!

haha, I see rainbow!!! I find it out of the window suddenly when I was reading Pat's blog. it is so beautiful!
I'm so excited! I know, maybe it is very common in summer, but it is the very first time I see a rainbow! hoho...
but it did not rain, and it is summer. how come? I've no idea.
oh, it is almost gone, only a little color left beside the sun...
wait, it appears again, slightly, slightly...
oh, so nice!

winter

it was so cold this Wed, and the temperature was -38, maybe lower. woo, it was amazing, I have never met such a low degree in my life. luckily, it becomes warmer and warmer.
we went to the Glenbow Museum this Friday - yesterday. I have learned a lot about the Native Canadians and the Petra. My first essay was about the Petra, which is a really myth city. also, the movie we watched - Dances with Wolves - offered a visible scene of the Sioux culture for me. we haven't finished the movie yet. so I do not know the ending of John. he might be killed by other American soilders, he might be rescued by his new friends, or the wolf may die when it walks towards John. well, whatever the the result is, I hope it is not too sad.
everything's going well, and it is Family Day next Monday. best wishes to my parents and grandparents in China!

20th winter Olympic Games

I was watching the speed skating in Torino and writing my blog. Haha, I was really happy that China team did a good job in the semi-game, and Canada was in the 2nd place. Canada is a really strong opponent to play with. Good luck, China!
It is festival of lanterns today. And I ate rice glue balls this morning, which means wishing staying with family together and happily. Well, I have been in Calgary for more than five months, the life here is new and, for me, having another way to enjoy. I have made new friends here; however, I know that no one could replace the position of my friends who I met in high school. Some like to be active, some like to be silent, some are talkative, and some like to complain something when they meet trouble. No matter what their weakness is, they are forever my friends, forever, in my hearts.

weekend again

weekend again.
and this time the weekend is not so nice because of so many asignment to do - one presentation, one essay review and one outside reading project. it is really tough tasks for me because I haven't finished reading my book. I always cannot concentrate my attention on one thing I'm doing. I cannot keep on doing one thing, and I do not have persistence to do things, even an easy one. oh, I'm so lazy! maybe I need someone to draw me to work.
I talked to my parents and grandparents this Wed, and they all asked me to study hard and take care of myself. well, I planned to moved this Jan. however, my mom said she would worry more if I did so, as the family I live with now is my father's friends. haha, I am forever a kid in my parents' eyes.
I rememebled that Pat gets sock, which Amy thought only for child, from his mom every Christmas. (Pat, do you mind I talk it here? if yes, I'm sorry and I will earase it immediately.) it is a really lovely thing to enjoy and memorize. just like, water in the desert, sunshine in winter and maybe encouragement when you fail. so warm, so sweet.
hehe...
